Did you know that Facebook will allow you to rename your business page? They will let you rename your business page up until you get 200 or more likes. It is good practice to add the specifics and/or location while setting up and naming your Facebook page. This not only helps with SEO (search engine optimization), it also helps local customers identify you and your location quickly.
Example: Extremedia Group (our page) was renamed to: Extremedia Group – Website Design, SEO & Graphics

Don’t worry – re-naming your Facdebook page does not affect your Facebook URL (web page address). You will not have to relink your website social media links online.

How do I change my Page name?
Only admins who are Managers or Content Creators can change the name of a Page. If your Page has less than 200 likes, you can change the name from Page settings:
- From the top of your Page, click Edit Page

- Select Update Page Info
- Click Edit on the right of the Name field and enter a new name
- Click Save Changes
If your Page has more than 200 likes, you can submit a name change request:
- From the top of your Page, click Edit Page

- Select Update Page Info
- Click the text in the Name field and then click Request Change
- Fill out the form with the required information and click Send
If your Page has more than 200 likes, you can only change your Page name once. If your request has been approved, you won’t be able to submit another request for that Page.
Note: Changing your Page’s name will not affect its username or Page address.
